Hasselman provided an overview of how other purchasers – public employee benefits agencies, insurance marketplaces, employers and Medicare – can be partners to Medicaid and engaged audience members in an interactive discussion on state efforts to bend the health care cost curve. Deidre Gifford, Rhode Island’s Medicaid Director, provided perspectives on multipayer opportunities pursued in Rhode Island.
Presenter: Andy McMahon, Managing Director, Government Affairs & Innovations, Center for Supportive Housing
Programs that are successful at addressing complex social problems in communities often lack the resources to bring their services to the larger population. This session explored the use of innovative approaches in financing and integrated care to benefit vulnerable populations.
